The Gov. had a surplus under Clinton because he closed a bunch of military bases and forced a lot of career military guys to retire. Several members of my family were forced to find other jobs because of this. And Obama didn't have shit to do with strategy. The FBI and other security depts. get intel and pass it on to the military chiefs who come up with a plan and then they show it to the pres. and he says yes or no. I voted Obama so take that for what it's worth.
Bush never had any intentions of getting Bin laden, he had the chance back in 2001 but he knew if he killed him then it would have shut the door on going into Iraqi...bush squandered the surplus Clinton left him wasted trillions fighting the wrong war in Iraqi.
