There are three types of people.. those that gets extremely turned on by something, those that do it to please another like the person above, and those that find it disgusting. That applies to me, as well. For me, the most intense, erotic, lust filled feelings I've ever had were experienced when I was a kid, before I had a full grasp on what sex entailed (all of the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and feelings involved, etc) and all the different ways people could have it.
It was the combination of having a very strong sex drive, even as a young kid, and then having to use my imagination to try to think about what it would really be like once I finally got a chance to have sex with a girl I was really attracted to.
During those uneducated years, The smallest little things could set me off... the smell of a girls hair, a slight movement made in a totally casual manner, or something a girl said or a certain look she gave me, as mentioned above... it really didn't take much.
Now, outside of dreams, I can't seem to get anywhere close to that level of intensity with my thoughts or emotions when it comes to sex.
As for the OP's question; it's as others have already said... it can really be anything that contributes to the development of a sexual attraction or a sexual fetish. Sometimes certain experiences can be looked back upon and pinpointed as one of the primary causes, if not "the" main cause for the fetish. But it's usually a big blend of smaller seemingly insignificant and often forgettable experiences that mix and match together to form whatever fetish, or set of fetishes it is that you currently have.
Personally I'm not into the cutting, death, cp, scat type stuff at all. But I can understand it all from an intellectual/ analytical point of view. As for the peeing and horse sex stuff... that I can relate to a little more closely, although I wouldn't say I have a true fetish for either.
When it comes to pissing, I find that to be occasionally sexy because it's something that's so closely tied to both female and male ejaculation, and the wetness is a sign of lubrication... all of which can help stimulate arousal due to the direct links to the most natural/ primal/ basic things involved in sexual functionality.
