What exactly is happening when you try to enter chat?
Do you get an error message and if so what is it?
Do you have the option to hardwire your pc to see if that makes a difference?
Have you tried clearing your flash cache?

or you could give Chrome a go..you can have as many browsers as you want on a pc and sometimes it's best to have at least 3, some sites will work better with one than another and even different pc setups can effect which browser works best for what site etc.. So having a few keeps your options open.

That particular error is a pesky one. It's nothing on this side (if it was there wouldn't be hundreds of people in chat right now), the most common reason is a weak or intermittent connection, but it is hard to pin it down. You could try uninstalling flash completely (using the flash uninstaller from the adobe site) reboot your pc and then install a fresh copy. Sometimes something will get corrupted during an update so it's worth a try.

i realised it may just be me, although spoke to others who seem to have the same problem on occasion, i uninstalled and reinstalled flash and it seems to have worked, see how it goes....
