So, the FBI finally found a guy to replace Bin Laden on their Top Ten Most wanted list. His crime(s)? Owning cp and producing cp.
To put this all into perspective, all the other people behind this guy on the FBI's Top Ten are what you'd expect, serial killers, kidnappers, armed robbers, arsonists, conspirators against the government, etc. Yet they chose the kiddie-porn man as their number one priority.
It's funny how often and how casually you hear people say "all pedophiles should be put to death," as though advocating the extrajudicial execution of people who have broken no law is a great display of unimpeachable morality. Also funny how you never hear anyone say the same thing about rapists, wife beaters, kidnappers, drug dealers, or even murderers. But I guess that's how it goes when you're dealing with a moral panic that's gotten totally out of control.
