@tommy4859 I think the very small ones are best but out of summer season so hard to breed, so these larger bait shop maggots will have to do, but agreed this batch was quite aggressive.

@thebrown88 Agreed. Spring is the best for maggots but during winter I keep trying shop bought but they are just not aggressive. Home grown especially the less mature creatures really are so hungry for cock meat and it is a pleasure to contribute to their growth.

@Infester you are welcome. Not particularly quick way but depending on the species of flies the cycle should take about three weeks max from maggots pupating to emerging as flies and laying again. Careful your home is not fly infested , keep them well contained!

@Infester quite a few days in the case of the ones in the video. They grew as I fed them obviously as they grow well on fresh cock meat. Eventually they become too big and start to pupate but before that they stop feeding so another batch is needed.

@MeWoLuvr78 I grow them! In summer it is easy. Just leave some meat in a bottle or container outside with restricted neck and up high to stop mice, rats and birds getting in. The flies will find it, lay eggs and in a few days you have young and hungry maggots. Depends on the flies that inhabit your area what maggots you get. Good luck!
