For kink play with consenting partners I use coconut oil to weaken condoms but I was wondering if there was a brand that was known for failing too often? It's actually hard to find info on this online.

Storage instructions for condoms direct to avoid excessive heat/cold, direct sunlight, and moisture. Gotta wonder how long they can be exposed to heat/sunlight before they weaken. Older/expired condoms may be more likely to break too. It could be a little like playing 'Russian roulette' with condoms.
