The prisoners entered the Execution Yard to see the gallows in front of them, two nooses dangling from the cross beam.

They paused for a moment.

Looking at the nooses, Anna wondered, "Gee, I wonder if we get to choose which rope we want?"

Elsa looked surprised, and turned incredulously to her sister. "Here they are taking us to be hanged, and you wonder if you'll get your choice of nooses? You really are something else, Little Sister!"

Anna just smiled.

There was a story that went along with this image series. If I recall, as they climbed the gallows steps, Anna asked her sister if they would get to pick which noose they wanted. Elsa laughed and commented that they were about to die but Anna was worried about which noose she got. After they were noosed, Elsa told Anna she was sorry that she didn't get to choose her noose. Anna told that it was ok and she got the noose she wanted anyway.
