WiHood was incorporated in August 2007 and has been honored to be awarded funding from Innovation Norway, a division of the Norwegian government providing capital to the most innovative companies in Norway.
WiHood was founded to bridge the digital-divide while protecting children online. That is its' mandate. The pricing for WiHood's services are low in comparison to the wealth of services the WiHood subscriber receives. WiHood has made it technically possible to offer these rich services all seamlessly bundled together, and portable, without having to burden families financially.

Founder and CEO
Thomas F. Anglero is the Founder and CEO of WiHood. Mr. Anglero is one of the very first pioneers of VoIP beginning in 1994. Now, after seeing the VoIP industry through to maturity, Mr. Anglero is again using his innovative thinking, global cultural experiences and passion for being a father to create WiHood, a simple solution to the complex challenges families face when it comes to their children, the internet and technology.
Prior to WiHood, Mr. Anglero was Senior Advisor to the executive team at Telenor AS (Mobile operator), CEO of Truly Global Inc. (a Vocaltec Communications Co. – NASDAQ: VOCL), and CEO of Free World Dialup (World’s first p2p VoIP phone company - 2001).
