WiHood was incorporated in August 2007 and received funding from Innovation Norway, a division of the Norwegian government providing capital to the most innovative companies in Norway and incorporated in the US in January 2008.
WiHood was founded to provide all children and families with the advantages that come from access to PC and Internet technology.
WiHood’s mission is to "provide possibilities and opportunities from were there were none."

In 2010, Mr. Anglero is the winner of the prestigious "Viewers Choice Winner" at the IESE Business School (Barcelona, Spain) "Doing Good and Doing Well 2010 Conference" in which over 500 of the best global Social Entrepreneurs competed in.
Mr. Anglero is a guest lecturer at Univ. of Oslo Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship program and Department of Informatics.
In 2009, Mr. Anglero was voted Top10 Most Influential People in Norway by executives from Norwegian industry, government and private businesses.
Prior to WiHood, Mr. Anglero was Senior Executive Advisor to the executive team at Telenor ASA, CEO of Truly Global Inc. and CEO of Free World Dialup (world’s first p2p VoIP phone company - 2001). Mr. Anglero was one of the very first pioneers of VoIP beginning in 1994.
Mr. Anglero is a graduate of Pratt Institute ('90) and is a Puerto Rican/American living in Oslo, Norway.
